Busy Week

Sorry I've been MIA this week. I just got a big project with a short timeline on Tuesday and have been researching and planning ever since.

It's rare that I'm ahead of the game on my personal work, so I'm proud to share that I currently have 29 Holiday photo card designs in my Etsy shop. It's my goal to have 35 by the first of November. In a world full of cheesy and expected Holiday cards, I'm excited to share photo cards that have bold graphics, fun typography and interesting colors.

Here are a few of my favorite designs:

The shop sells these cards as digital files for only $15.

Glittery Mousepad

If I used a mousepad, this would be it. Nothing like a little glitter to fancy up the office.

iPad Must Travel

I'm tired of throwing my iPad in my purse and hoping it'll be protected enough. It's time to suck it up and pick a case. This is by far the coolest case I've seen yet on Etsy.

even better. Karolin Schnoor's Etsy shop is full of gorgeous illustrated cards.

Gorgeous Letterpress Wedding Invitations

Mama Sauce is an awesome letterpress shop with tops of inspirational pieces highlighted on their blog. This beauty features sweet illustrations with a playful color scheme. This is a wedding I would love to be invited to.

It's amazing how couples can build their person style into their wedding stationery. Seeing invitations like these push me to think more outside the box when designing for my clients.

Pop Chart Lab

I'm a huge fan of illustrated posters and Pop Chart Lab has produced some outstanding and clever prints. I found their site earlier today while poking around the web. The ideas behind these posters are so fun! Who wouldn't want a print of 282 sobriquets from the world of rap music arranged according to semantics hanging above their fireplace?!

Custom Coffee Sleeve

I might just have to keep this idea in my head for future clients.

5 Things I Love from Mad Men

This post was inspired by the "10 Things I Love" on A Beautiful Mess blog

I've started watching AMC's Mad Men again, starting at Season one, on Netflix to help pass the time while working on my upcoming collection of wedding stationery (launching in early fall). This is a great show to watch while working. I am so inspired by the vintage details and fashion.

I can't wait for the new season!

Creative Seating Cards

I love the idea of chalkboard place mats as seating cards for a party or wedding. I think it would even be cute on your normal dining room table!

Kraft Paper In Use

I love the great trend of using kraft paper in wedding invitations, reception details, business collateral and other paper products. These are some beautiful examples I found on Pinterest. (If you're not on this awesome cataloging website, get on it!)
